Ruth Johnson Cheney, 68, of Warren passed away on October 9, 2014 after a battle with CNS Lymphoma. She was born on July 30, 1946 in Kent Hollow, Kent, CT to the late Edward and T. Virginia Johnson.
Ruth is survived by her husband, Ronald Cheney of Warren, two daughters; Laura Esposito of Laguna Hills, CA and Cora Muñoz and husband German Muñoz Fortaneli of Litchfield, CT, son, Edward Cheney of Warren, CT, two sisters; Kristine J. Mothersele of Bristol, CT and Linda Ajello and husband Michael of Warren, CT, brother, Timothy Johnson and wife Nina of Litchfield, CT, a grandson Christian Muñoz of Litchfield, Nephew, Justin Mothersele of Indianapolis, IN, and two nieces; Casey Ajello of Newington,CT and Jackie Ajello of Stamford, CT. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a brother Alden Johnson.
A memorial service will be held at Warren Congregational Church, 4 Sackett Hill Road, Warren on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at 11:00am. Family and friends may call on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 from 5-8pm at Rowe Funeral Home, 283 Torrington Road, Litchfield.
