Timothy Dean Wood, Sr.

Timothy Dean Wood, Sr., 58, of Goshen passed away October 5, 2015 at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington. He was born in Silver Creek, New York on May 22, 1957 to Constance (Lilly) Dimmock and DeSilver Peter Wood.

Timothy served in the United States Marine Corps and was a dairy farmer. He had a mutual love with animals and enjoyed watching old western movies and listening to 70s music.

In addition to his mother, Constance, he is survived by three children; Timothy Wood, Jr., Vincent Wood, and Matthew Wood, a Grandson, Joey Jacques, a sister, Phyllis Vaill and her husband Bruce of Goshen, with whom he had made his home for the past five years, a brother, James Therriault of New Hampshire, two step sisters; Michelle Coombs and her husband Ralph of New York and Angie Daudelin Rodriguez and her husband Ramone of Massachusetts, a brother, Albert Dimmock, Jr. and his wife Sarah Lynn of New Hampshire and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 11:00am at Rowe Funeral Home, 283 Torrington Road, Litchfield. Calling hours will be 9:30 to 11:00am at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
