Arthur Frank Morzella

HARWINTON - Arthur Frank Morzella, 84, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on November 6, 2016. He was the beloved husband of Cynthia Maria (Verlato) Morzella who passed away on November 3, 2016.

Arthur was born on Red Mountain Avenue on October 12, 1932 to Frank Morzella and Fortunata Russo Morzella. His grandfather, Felix Marcella had emigrated to the United States from Italy. One of 10 children, Arthur began working at a very early age as a delivery boy for the Torrington Creamery. Arthur retired from the Torrington Company in 1997, but he was most proud of being a well driller for various companies throughout the local area.

Arthur and his beloved late wife, Cynthia, were very proud of their three sons: Gerard Arthur, Michael Paul, and Robert James Morzella and their five grandchildren.

Arthur enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, cooking, watching baseball, and taking care of his wife and family.

A funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. on Monday, November 7, 2016, at Rowe Funeral Home, 283 Torrington Road, Litchfield. Burial will be private. Calling hours will be from 4 to 6 p.m. on Monday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
