Kathleen (Anderson) Butkus, 51, passed away on September 4, 2016 in Bantam. She was born on June 28, 1965 in Torrington to the late Robert Carl and Virginia (Zontok) Anderson.

Kathy was a graduate of Torrington High School. She loved Lynyrd Skynyrd crafting, yarning and cooking. Most importantly she loved her kids. She was a caring woman with a huge heart.

Kathy is survived by two children; Dylan Anderson and Madison Butkus, two sisters; Laurie Maslak and Mary Lawrence and her husband David, her nephew; Alec Lawrence, her fur niece, Snickers and her estranged husband Scott Butkus.

The family would like to thank the Bantam Volunteer Fire and Ambulance for all of their help over the past few years.

Calling hours will be held Today on Friday, September 9, 2016 from 5-7pm at Rowe Funeral Home, 283 Torrington Road, Litchfield. Burial will take place at a later date.
