Janice Irene  Pepper
Janice Irene Pepper, 53, of Harwinton passed away peacefully on November 2nd, surrounded by her loving family after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Torrington, she enjoyed her childhood in Litchfield and Milton with her menagerie of dogs, cats, rabbits and horses. A graduate of Litchfield High School, she attended Northwest Community College and until her illness was employed by Community Systems. She enjoyed feeding her birds and gardening and was an enthusiastic supporter of her beloved daughter Alyssa’s activities as well as an avid volunteer at charitable events.

Janice was predeceased by her mother, Catherine(Rena) Pepper and is survived by her daughter, Alyssa Pequignot; her fiancé Eric Barella and their precious dog Katie, her father Philip Pepper and step mother Nancy Derwitsch, her stepfather Gilbert Bailey and his wife Lynn, her brother Gordon Pepper and his wife Kathleen, her brother Greg Pepper and his wife Stephanie and their son Aiden, her sister-friend Lori Rousseau and her family, and her close, loving and supportive McCutcheon, Zawadski and Loomis aunts, uncles and cousins.

Calling hours with be held from 4-7 pm on Thursday November 5th at Rowe Funeral Home in Litchfield. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 6th at 11 am at Milton Congregational Church with a private burial to follow at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Visiting Nurse Services of Connecticut.
