Betsy Woodward

Betsy, 68, passed away on June 18, 2015 at Waterbury Hospital. She was the wife of the late Ronald Morrison and the late Douglas Woodward. Betsy was born in Hartford on February 23, 1947 to the late William and Elizabeth (Kirby) Foley.

Betsy was her happiest when spending time with her family. She was a great admirer of flowers and birds. She looked for any excuse to shop and always loved pizza and coke.

Betsy is survived by her daughter Lisa Scalise, her husband Bob and their children Tyler and Olivia all of Avon, two step-sons; Brian Woodward and his wife Colleen and Bruce Woodward, two step-daughters; Susan Hayes and her husband Kevin and Shelly Lopez and her husband José, five step grandchildren and two step great grandchildren.

Betsy’s family would like to especially thank Dr. Jo-anne Cosgriff at Waterbury Hospital and Dr. Anamika Katoch at the Harold Lever Cancer Center for their exceptional care and friendship.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2015 from 10:30am-1:00pm at Rowe Funeral Home, 283 Torrington Road, Litchfield. Burial will be private.
