Gertrude A. (Rossi) Dingwell, 88, passed away on April 30, 2015 at home following a brief illness. She was the wife of George F. Dingwell. Gertrude was born on May 12, 1926 in Wallingford, Connecticut to the late Roy H. Goslee and Millicent E. Asman.

Gertrude spent most of her life buying and selling Real Estate. She loved animals and traveling. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband George, she is survived by her son; Steven Rossi and his wife Marianne of Northfield, two brothers; Roy Goslee of Florida and Ronald Goslee of Waterbury, her sister; Barbara Salzman of Florida, eight grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter and many nieces and nephews. Gertrude was predeceased by a daughter Judith Ann and nine brothers and sisters.

Calling hours are Wednesday, May 6, 2015 from 5-7pm at Rowe Funeral Home, 283 Torrington Road. A funeral service will be held Thursday, May 7, 2015 at 10:00am at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, 715 Bantam Road, Bantam.
