Charlotte M. Jacquemin Mordarsky Stevens, passed away at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital on November 23, 2014 after a brief illness. She was born on July 19, 1942 in Torrington, CT.

Charlotte worked for General Time’s, Skee’s Diner, Springtree Lounge and Colonial Bronze. She retired from Seitz where she worked for over 25 years. Before Charlotte’s illness she was able to go visit her family and friends in Italy as she wished. Charlotte was a kind and giving person. She took anybody into her home who needed help.

Charlotte is survived by four daughters; Roberta Ashner Foster and her husband Jay, Dorene Ashner, Linda Ashner Pagano, Leanne Stevens, her son Mark Stevens, Jr., seven grandchildren; Alyssa Foster Lancor, Jay Foster Jr., Jon-Michael Ashner, Joseph Pagano, Andrew, Madalyn and Mark Allen Stevens, six great-grandchildren; Gavin Lancor, Amelia Mohan, Lindsey St. Pierre, Jay Foster III, Brody Foster and Jon- Michael McHenry-Brewer, brothers; John Van Suetendael and David Jacquemin, two sisters; Sharon Preato and Diane Jacquemin, Charlotte’s Step Mother, Eva Jacquemin and several nieces and nephews. Charlotte is predeceased by her parents, Beatrice (Romaniello) Mordarksy and Andrew Mordarsky who raised her and her birth father, Charles Jacquemin, brother, Charles Jacquemin, her son-in-law, Anthony Pagano and grandson, Joshua Stevens.

In Lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Friends and family may call from 10:00 to 11:00am on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at Rowe Funeral Home, 283 Torrington Road, Litchfield. A service will begin at 11:00am. Entombment will follow in St. Peter’s Cemetery 236 E. Pearl Road, Torrington, CT 06790.
