Obituary for Deborah Perreault

Deborah Hannon Perreault, 61, passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Valerie Manor in Torrington on August 4, 2014 after bravely battling chronic illness. The wife of Leo P. Perreault for 40 years, she was born on July 17, 1953 to the late Richard and Antoinette (Daversa) Hannon.

Deborah was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister and a passionate Yankees fan. She will be remembered for her warmth, resilience and kindness of spirit.

Deborah is survived by two daughters, Shannon Perreault and her husband Greg Wilson of Torrington and Lyndsey Clericuzio and husband Nicholas of Shelton; four grandchildren, Abigail, Logan, Nicholas and Paul; sister, Joan Van Gasbeck and husband Phil of Waterbury; brother-in-law, Robert Mielcarz of Bristol. She was predeceased by a sister, Sharon Mielcarz.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Scleroderma Foundation, www.scleroderma.org.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, August 8, 2014 at 10:00am at St. Francis Church, 160 Main Street, Torrington, CT 06790. Burial will follow in St. Peter’s Cemetery, 236 E Pearl Road, Torrington. Friends and family may call on Thursday, August 7, 2014 from 4-7pm at Rowe Funeral Home, 283 Torrington Road, Litchfield, 06759.
