MORRIS – Steven S. Paletsky, 65, passed away on July 12, 2014 at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital after a long struggle with Lewy Body Dementia, with family and friends by his side.

Steven was the son of the late Bernard A. and Mildred (Pollack) Paletsky.

A lifelong Morris resident, Steve was a farmer and cattle dealer, real estate broker and excavating and building contractor. He took great pride in being involved with his son in the family businesses.

He was active in Morris politics; serving on the Democratic Town Committee, the Planning and Zoning Board as well as serving as a Justice of the Peace.

Steve is survived by a son, Geoffrey, and his fiancée, Kristy Domato; a brother, Marc and his wife, Susan; many cousins and loyal friends.

Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 15, at Rowe Funeral Home, 283 Torrington Road, Litchfield. Burial will follow in Farband Cemetery, Morris. Calling hours will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Morris Volunteer Fire Department and Ambulance, P.O. Box 48, Morris, CT 06763.
