Mary A. (Lampron) Stanley, 82, formerly of Lakeside, died Friday, July 4, 2014 at her home surrounded by her family. Mary was the widow of Earl H. Stanley.
Mrs. Stanley was born June 11, 1932 in Waterbury, CT a daughter of the late Arthur J. and Evelyn (LaBranche) Lampron and grew up in Watertown, CT having graduated from St. John’s Grammar School. Mrs. Stanley lived in Bantam for the past 22 years, having moved there from Lakeside. Mrs. Stanley was a communicant of Our Lady of Grace Church.
Mary is survived by six daughters, Diana Petrovits Soderburg of Torrington, Darlene Ducharme of Morris, Teresa Truax of Bantam, Gail Stanley Reynolds of Torrington, Althea Green of Bantam and Alison Andersen of Winsted, a brother Arthur J. Lampron, Jr. of Bantam, two sisters Lillian Gransky of Middletown and Lorraine Roy of Chicago, IL, 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
The family would like to sincerely thank Mary’s caregivers, especially Donna, Lindsay and Audrey; the staff of VNS; and Dr. Green, Dr. Meltzer and the staff at CHH Pulmonary Rehab.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at 10:00am at Our Lady of Grace Church, Bantam and friends are asked to please meet directly at Church. Burial will be in East Morris Cemetery, Morris. Calling hours will be Tuesday, July 8, 2014 from 5:00 to 8:00pm at Rowe Funeral Home, 283 Torrington Road, Litchfield. Memorial contributions may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, 78 Eastern Blvd., Glastonbury, CT 06033 or to Bantam Fire Company, P.O. Box 456, Bantam, CT 06750.
