Obituary for Frank Kenneth "Ken" Fitch Jr.

Frank Kenneth "Ken"  Fitch Jr.
Frank Kenneth Fitch Jr. passed away on July 2, 2014 at age 66 in Sharon, CT. He was born on May 27, 1948 to the late Frank Kenneth, Sr. and Alice Fitch of Weston, CT.

Ken was a Vietnam War Veteran who proudly served as a U.S. Navy Seabee. He worked as a police officer in several towns, including Wilton and Washington, CT and Palm Beach Gardens, FL.

Ken dedicated much of his time volunteering as an EMT for the Litchfield and Washington Ambulance Corps. In addition to being the Director of Civil Preparedness for Litchfield; he served both the Weston and Bantam Fire Depts. Ken was an active member of several civic organizations including the VFW, Freemasons, and Lions Club. As a BSA Scout Master he was an inspiration to many young individuals. His spirit as a volunteer and community leader will be greatly missed.

Ken was a kind and loving father, husband, and friend who leaves behind his wife Virginia of Torrington, his daughter Laura and grandchildren; Victoria, Adam, and Olivia Rieley of Thomaston, and his son Frank of Torrington.

Calling hours are Friday July 11 from 4-7 pm at Rowe Funeral Home in Litchfield.
