Bantam, CT – Lorraine M. Prewitt, 68, passed away at her home on March 25, 2015. Her husband of 49 years, Henry Prewitt, was by her side.

Lorraine was born in Mt. Vernon, NY on June 1, 1946 to Alphonso and Anna Camera. She was a licensed hair dresser for more than 50 years. She owned and operated Hair Repair in New Preston then Hair to Stay in Bantam.

She will be sadly missed by her sons; Henry Prewitt, Jr. of Alvin, TX and Jeff Prewitt of Litchfield, a granddaughter, Abigail Prewitt of Litchfield, three sisters; Connie Peck of Amenia, NY Margaret Valeri of Harrison, NY and Linda Jorgensen of Mahopac, NY and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends and family may call on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 from 5-7pm at Rowe Funeral Home, 283 Torrington Road, Litchfield.
