Sherry Ann Nye, 66, passed away on January 11, 2014 at Waterbury Hospital.

Daughter of the late Embry Allen and Roberta (Nelson) Nye, she was born on January 31, 1947, in Brockton, Mass., and raised in Jacksonville, Florida.

Sherry was a loving and devoted stay at home mother to three children. After raising her children, she worked as a pharmacy technician for 20 years at Bridgeport Hospital. She then worked at Martin Memorial Hospital in Stuart, Florida and later moved back north to Litchfield, CT.

Sherry is survived by her three children, Robert C. Osborne and his wife Moira Malone of Cheshire, CT, Todd M. Osborne and his wife Emy of Litchfield, CT and Melissa A. Weimer and her husband Tim of Anderson, S.C.; and six grandsons.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 18, 2014, Lordship Community Church, 179 Prospect Drive, Stratford, CT 06484. There are no calling hours.
