Obituary for William Pouliot
TORRINGTON - William “Bill” George Pouliot, 53, died unexpectedly on March 5, 2019. He was the beloved husband of 27 years to Karen (Hartwell) Pouliot.
Bill was born in Torrington on April 14th, 1965 to Vera (Kohrs) Pouliot and the late Wilfred Pouliot. Bill spent much of his life working as a licensed plumber. For 20 years Bill has been the service manager of The Swimming Pool Store where he enjoyed fixing problems and helping his customers. Bill was a brilliant man always able and willing to fix anything for anyone. With many interests he was a member of the Sons of Hermann and enjoyed his Harley and loved spending time with family and great friends.
Bill is survived by a loving family, in addition to his wife and mother, including his son and daughter-in-law Cory and Ashley Hartwell, his sisters, Susan and Andrew Weimann, Nancy and Tony Sepples, Cheryl Drake, Cathy and George Kieth, and Barbara Martin sisters and brothers-in-law Charles and Diane Hartwell and Lisa and Winston Robinson as well as many Nieces and Nephews and his Rottweilers Sampson and Delilah.
A funeral service will be held at 5 p.m. on Sunday, March 10, at Rowe Funeral Home, 283 Torrington Road, Litchfield. Burial in the spring will be private. Calling hours are Sunday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
