Obituary

Mr. William "Bill" Gerald Coll of West Cornwall, CT passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2020.
Due to Covid-19 a private church service will be held the morning of Monday, August 24, 2020 in Litchfield, with graveside service held late afternoon at the Calvary Cemetery in Drums, PA.
Bill was born on October 8, 1932 in Hazleton, PA to William A. Coll and Grace Coll.
He graduated with honors from Hazleton High School, class of 1950. Bill also attended college and graduated from Penn State University, class of 1955.
In 1956, Bill married his high school sweetheart, the late Mary Ann Lapchak (Coll) of Hazleton, PA. and were married for 64 years.
While in high school and college, Bill enjoyed playing basketball and remained a dedicated fan of Penn State basketball and football. Bill was also a dedicated fan of Notre Dame basketball and football. Bill made sure he always followed these team schedules to not miss a game.
Bill was also a natural leader and built a successful career for over 50 years in the Pharmaceutical industry; his career took him all over the United States and internationally.
When not working, Bill and Mary Ann truly enjoyed time with family and their grandchildren, as well as, traveling to Europe. Bill found favorite destinations in Chile, Argentina, Germany and Portugal.
He is survived by his three sons: William X. Coll (Sharon Coll) of Litchfield,CT; Michael K. Coll (Jorie Coll) of Eagan, MN; and Timothy F. Coll (Jennifer Coll) of Deltona, FL.; including his four grandchildren Liam Coll (Natalie Coll), Aidan Coll, Shane Coll and Delaney Coll.
Family meant the world to Bill and he will be deeply missed.
