Torrington - Timothy Joseph Ventry, 45, passed away on January 4, 2021 in Torrington.
He was born in New Haven, Connecticut to Timothy K. Ventry and Wendy L. Clarke.

Timothy served in the United States Marine Corp (CPL) from 1995-1999. He worked for the Marine Corp Headquarters in the Judge Advocate Division at the Pentagon (IT Specialist) from 2005-2009. He also worked at the United States International Trade Commission in Washington, DC (Network Engineer/GS13) from 2009-2016.

Timothy was an avid outdoorsmen. He loved to hunt, fish, hike and scuba dive. He was a handyman and helped a lot with home projects and automobiles. He was an expert with computers, he could build one from scratch, and was a subject matter with Network Security. He enjoyed spending summers with his daughter. He was proud to call himself MARINE, was larger than life, and had a huge heart. He is truly loved and missed by many.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Bryon D. Ventry of Torrington, his son, Mason P. Ventry and daughter Gina D. Ventry, his daughter Cadence A. Ventry and her mother Cheri Seitz of Quantico, Virginia and his girlfriend Rebekah S. Stanowski of Torrington. He was predeceased by his grandfathers, Joseph P. Ventry and Foster S. Clarke and grandmothers Arbutus J. Ventry and Ethel H. Hurlburt.
