Thomas I. McClintock, 68, passed away on July 25, 2022 at home. He was the life partner of Ron Anderson for 43 years. Tom was born on January 9, 1954 in Racine, Wisconsin, son of the late Ernest and Barbary McClintock.
Tom settled in Litchfield as a young man, residing here for close to 40 years. He graduated from Cardigan Mountain School and Frederick Gunn School. Tom worked at the Frederick Gunn School for several years and as a realtor for Fahey Realty. He was the commissioner for the Litchfield Housing Authority and a member of the Litchfield Social Service Board as well as the Torrington Health District. He had a love for gardening, History and antique cars.
In addition to his partner, Ron, of Litchfield, Tom is survived by his sister, Patricia McClintock of North Carolina, his brother, Richard McClintock of Woodbury, his sister-in-law, Ailin Chen, along with his nieces; Kathy Trost, Kiran Chen and his nephew Ricky McClintock. Tom was predeceased by his brother, William McClintock and his nephew Orian McClintock.
