Obituary for Teodora "Tola" Chausse (Villanueva)
Teodora “Tola” V. Chausse, 89, of Winsted, passed away on December 11, 2022 following a brief illness. She was the widow of Willie A. Chausse. She was born in Tulare, CA on November 9, 1933 to the late Plutarco and Jacinta (Villalobos) Villanueva.
Tola is survived by her four children; Henry C. Urrutia, Christola Chausse, Danny L. Holbrook and Rebecca Shopey, 12 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, nine great great grandchildren and three step children. She was predeceased by her daughter, Maria Holbrook and a stepdaughter, Carol Whalen.
The family would like to thank Tola's caregiver, April Grey, who was like a daughter to her, she loved her dearly.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, December 16, 2022 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Thurston Rowe Funeral Home, 283 Torrington Road, Litchfield. A funeral service will begin at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be private.
