Obituary for Stuart M. Russell
Goshen- Stuart M. Russell, 80, passed away at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital on Feb. 6, 2021. He was the husband of 54 years of Martha (Romaine) Russell.
Stu was born in New Haven the oldest of seven children of the late George E. and Adele (Morgan) Russell.
He proudly served in the U.S. Navy and worked for NCR as a Field Service Technician for over thirty years. Stu enjoyed golfing for many years. He loved tinkering in his barn and working in his yard. He was well respected and loved by all who knew him.
In addition to his beloved wife Martha, Stu is survived by a son Sean Russell (June) of Goshen, 2 daughters, Erica (Chris) Abbott-Devaux of Pequannock, NJ, and Tamsen Bernard of Goshen, three grandsons, Dalton and Daniel Russell and Garrett Abbott-Devaux, six siblings, George Russell, Noel Seeley, James Russell, Betsy Johnston, Robert Russell and Thomas Russell, as well as many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 11:30am at St. Anthony Cemetery, Litchfield.
