Obituary for Ruth Elliot Latour

Bantam – Ruth “Ruthie” Latour, 89, passed away on July 26, 2021 at Litchfield Woods in Torrington. She was the wife of the late Alfred Latour. Ruthie was born on May 13, 1932 in Nova Scotia, Canada to the late Ray and Jessie Snow.
She was raised in Barrington Passage, Nova Scotia, Canada, and moved to Long Island, New York in the 50’s where she met, her husband, Alfred, at work and they later married. They welcomed their son, Stephen, in 1957 and moved to Pennsylvania as a family in the 60’s. Any chance she could get, Ruthie would go back to her homeland in Nova Scotia to visit. Later on in her life, her main passion was her grandchildren and then great grandchildren.
