Obituary for Ruth M. Bigos
LITCHFIELD - Ruth M. Bigos, Beloved Matriarch of the Bigos Farm dies at 103 at her home with her family at her side.
She leaves behind her daughters, Mary Green, Michele Peila (John, Jr.), son-in-law, Lloyd Vaill, grandchildren, Michael Green, David Green, Justin Green, John Peila, III, Martin Peila, Brian Peila, Sarah Porrovecchio, Wayne Shreders, Wendy Shreders, Rosina Schulerud, Lisa Vaill, Teresa Vaill, Corrine Meiller and Lloyd Vaill, Jr. as well as many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and spouses.
She goes on to join her husband, Michael; daughters, Nancy Vaill and Carolyn Shreders; granddaughter Sandy Green, and sons-in-law, Ivar Green and Wayne Shreders and many friends of 4-H; Grange and neighbors.
Ruth loved life, family, friends, entertaining and gardening and was loved and respected by all. She said “Rejoice.”
The family wishes to thank all of her caregivers, especially, Joyce Takyiwa.
