Obituary for Russell Clark

Torrington – Russell (Rusty) Clark, 53, passed away on November 15, 2022. He was born on July 30, 1969 to Barbara (Murray) and the late John “Jack” R. Clark.

Rusty was born and raised in Watertown, Connecticut, where he attended and graduated from school. He enlisted in the United States Army for a short term and later drove truck all over the United States for several years. He lived in Fort Myers Beach, Florida, where he was a cook at a small restaurant by the beach. The patrons not only would leave with a belly full of food but also a belly full of laughs. Rusty was a restless man who loved to change what he was doing every few years for a breath of fresh air. No matter where he was in life, he would always stay in touch with his mother.

Rusty truly enjoyed spending quality time with his friends and family. He was known to always have an interesting story that was full of shenanigans to tell and especially loved telling them to his godson/nephew, Benjamin. Benjamin held a special place in Rusty’s heart.

In addition to his mother, Barbara, Rusty is survived by his brothers; Shayn (Jessica) Clark and James (Debra) Clark, his nephews; Benjamin and Seth Clark and nieces Taylor Kinkade and Harper Clark and longtime girlfriend Liane Larmett.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Thomas of Villanova Church on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at 11:30am. Burial will be private.
