Obituary for Rose Doris Hart

Litchfield - Rose Doris Bosio Hart, 90, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2022 at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Rose was born in Torrington on September 16, 1931 to the late Edward and Mary (Yurchick) Bosio.

Rose attended Southwest School and Torrington High School. In 1951 on February 3rd, she married the “Love” of her life, Carl Hart Jr. They were married 60 years, when Carl passed away in 2011. They loved polka dancing, going to the Casino, and going to events their grandchildren and great grandchildren were in. Rose worked at Woolworths in Torrington, the needle shop at Torrington Co. and several years at Hart building and roofing.

Rose is survived by her three children, Darlene Misani (Remy), Carl Hart III (Patricia) and Gregory Hart, six grandchildren; Remy Misani Jr., Jeffery Misani, Carl Hart IV, Jason Hart, Kathryn Beach and Chris Hart, and eleven great grandchildren whom she loved dearly, her brother, Edward Bosio (Arlene), her sister, Jean Lovallo (William), her sister-in-law, Beverly Loyot and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Rose was predeceased by her daughter-in-law, Barbara Hart and her in-laws Carl (Lillian) Hart Sr. and Frank Loyot.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Thurston Rowe Funeral Home, 283 Torrington Road, Litchfield, Connecticut 06759. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Torrington. Friends and family may call prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
