New Milford – Paul Francis Adams, 78, passed away on September 5, 2021 at Hartford Hospital. He was the loving husband of Jannet Smith Adams of 56 years. He was born on June 8, 1943 in New Milford, Connecticut to the late Alec and Rose (Nicola) Adams.

Paul attended New Milford Schools and Henry Abbott Technical School. He was an electro mechanical designer for Kimberly Clarke and later for Sonics and Materials. Paul served in the United States Navy from 1965- 1971. He enjoyed working on his hot rods and was an avid fly fisherman.

In addition to his wife, Jannet, he is survived by two sons; Paul Adams (Dawn) of Lakeside, Connecticut, Shawn Adams (Sherrie) of New Milford, Connecticut, three grandsons; Alex Adams (Sara) of Lakeside, Connecticut, Joshua Adams (Mallory) of Danbury, Connecticut and Dominic Adams of New Milford, Connecticut, his great grandson, Deegan Adams of Lakeside, Connecticut and his best buddy, Walter, the parrot.

A memorial service will be held on October 9, 2021 at 12:30pm at St. Francis Xavier Church, 26 Chestnut Land Road, New Milford, CT 06776.
