Patricia Ann Burek, 74, passed away peacefully, at her home, with her family by her side. She was the loving wife of John “Jack” Burek, Jr.
Patricia was born in New Haven, CT daughter of the late Foster and Florence McLay.
She was raised in East Haven and graduated from East Haven High School.
Patricia worked in the Travel industry for twenty five years for Tauck Tours retiring in 2001.
She was a member of the Church of Christ Congregational in Goshen, the Goshen Agricultural Society and a volunteer for the Goshen Community Care Hospice. She was also an avid gardener.
In addition to her husband Jack, Patricia is survived by a son Michael Burek (Sharon) of Winsted, CT, a daughter Kimberly Buckland (Craig) of Sandisfield, MA, a son John F. Burek (Sylvia Cheehow) of Fairfield, CT, two sisters; Jan Riley of Torrington, CT and Joyce Warner of Durham, CT, a brother Harry McLay, of Florida and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
