Obituary for Norman T. Guerard

Norman Terry Guerard was born October 18, 1949 and died on December 21, 2018 after a more than 40 year struggle with Crohn’s disease and related issues. He was the son of the late Norman E. Guerard and Gladys C. (Bardin) Guerard. He leaves his wife, Nancy Caine Guerard of Bantam, and a son Sean Guerard (Chandra) of Milton, CT; a sister Sandra Guerard (Robert Goldman), and a niece Susan Culbert Woolard of Richmond, Virginia. He also leaves his constant canine companions, Molly and Max.

He had a lifelong passion for cars. He worked for Bantam Toyota and Ruwet-Sibley, and several other businesses as a mechanic, on cars, small engines, and heavy equipment. In addition he built/worked on Street Rods and Dragsters, and participated in local and national shows.

He never met a stranger and always helped people in need, and was a loving husband, father, brother, and son. Despite his significant health challenges, he never gave up. He lived life to the fullest extent possible.

A graveside service will be private.
