Morris – Nathaniel Stein, 96, passed away peacefully at his home on January 17, 2020.
He was the widower of the late Marjorie Stein and the husband of Coralie M. Tedesco.
Nathaniel was born in Brooklyn, NY, on June 18, 1923 son of the late Harry and Clara Stein.
He proudly served in the U.S. Army in WWII. He graduated from Brooklyn College and Pace University and enjoyed a long career as a Teacher at the William E. Grady Vocational High School.
Mr. Stein was a member of the NRA and the Torrington Gun Club. He was also a member of the Morris Historical Society and the Audubon Society.
Nathaniel will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by his wife Coralie “Corky”, his two daughters and sons-in-law, Amy Greenberg (Ken) and Marianne Kah (Jeff Coe) stepson, Ralph Tedesco (Julie), stepdaughters, Marybeth Tedesco (Gina Garofano), grandsons, Evan Greenberg, Mitchell Tedesco and Tanner Tedesco and granddaughter, Logan Tedesco.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at Thurston Rowe Funeral Home, 283 Torrington Rd., Litchfield, from 10:30 am to 11:30 am. A time of remembrance and celebration of Nathaniel’s life will begin at 11:30 am followed by a Military Final Honors Ceremony.
