GOSHEN - Mary Russell Storrs, 85, passed away on November 17, 2019. She was the wife of the late Robert E. Storrs, Sr. Mary was born on March 8, 1934 in Torrington to the late Ira E. Russell and Alice B. (Horner) Russell. She graduated Housatonic Valley Regional School and Sharon Center School. Mary worked for 25 years at the McCrory Stores and was a longtime member of Center Congregational Church in Torrington. For the past 15 years she had been residing in Goshen.
She is survived by her son, Robert E. Storrs, Jr.; two granddaughters, Jessica M. Storrs and Jennifer M. Storrs; a brother, John E. Russell; a sister, Barbara A. Hurley and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Bradford K. Storrs.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 14, at 10 a.m. at Center Congregational Church, Torrington. Burial will be private in Hillside Cemetery.
