Obituary for Julio Roman Jr.

Julio Roman Jr.

It is with great sadness that we mourn the loss of our beloved son, brother, uncle and a friend to many, Julio Roman Jr. Julio, who resided in Goshen CT, passed away suddenly in his home on June 14, 2021 at the age of 58. He was born on March 8, 1963 in The Bronx, NY to Gladys and Julio Roman. Survived by his parents and siblings, Liz (Bob) Sirchia, Eduardo (Anisi) Roman and Manuel (Tiffany) Roman in addition to five nieces and one nephew. He was a proud graduate from SUNY Purchase, with a Bachelor’s degree in fine arts. Julio held a deep passion for the creative things in life, such as drawing, writing, and was a talented cartoon animation artist, as well. He was fascinated by figurines and video games that went into the depths of visual creations. He also was involved in the creation of children's books, with his own illustrations included. Whatever Julio put his mind to, he would do with great passion and hard work. He was an avid gardener, and eager to endure any outdoor activity that allowed him to explore nature. Julio was very social, often making strangers into his close friends. At family functions, Julio would make others laugh, smile, and occasionally would surprise us with his dance moves. He always knew how to ‘wow’ people with his outgoing personality and spunk. No matter what he or anyone was going through, Julio always knew how to engage in conversation with others and create a happy environment for all.
Julio's family will receive relatives and friends at the:
