Judith A.  Mo
Winsted - Judith Anne (Crutch) Mo was received into the waiting arms of her Lord, where she had longed to be for some time, on July 23, 2018 at CHH. She was born in Central Islip on Long Island on Dec. 26 1934 to George Merriman Crutch and Ruth Turkington Crutch of Litchfield CT. She grew up in Litchfield and graduated high school from Litchfield Center School and enjoyed participating in sports like Basketball, which surely was encouraged by her father, who was a college basketball coach at Williston Academy in Massachusetts.

Judith met the love of her life Danny, as a young woman, and they surely would have married, but he died tragically in a crash. She never forgot him. Sometime later, she met and married, the father of her children, Raymond E. Mo. She had been employed at the First National Bank of Litchfield (now Union Bank) as a Teller for many years, and at George H. Christian & Co. as a bookkeeper. She was also a resident of Torrington, CT for several years before moving to Florida between 1991 & 1996 where she received Christ as her Savior. Later she returned to Torrington, and most recently lived in Winsted CT.

She is predeceased by her parents, her aunt Mildred (Turkington) Hallihan, her aunt Louise Turkington, her husband, and several pets including her much loved dogs Bubba & Bo, and cats Peanut, & Misty. Judy was an animal lover who adopted or rescued many dogs and cats over her lifetime. Judith was a bird watcher and could tell you what type of bird was outside just by hearing its song.

She is survived by; her sister, Barbara “Bobbie" Dlugokinski of Litchfield, CT and also by her children; her son Orlando C. “Lonny" Mo of Torrington CT, her daughter Karen L. “Kā" (Mo) Addison of Harwinton CT, her son Wayne J. “Mo" Mo of Torrington CT, and a daughter, Lynne A. Thibault, (estranged). She also leaves behind 12 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends, including those that she met while living at Chestnut Grove Senior Housing in Winsted, CT.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 11:00am at East Cemetery, Litchfield, CT.
