Obituary for Judith Ann Henrich

MORRIS - Judith Ann Henrich, 82 of Morris, passed away at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital on December 15, 2021. She was the loving wife of sixty-four years of Kenneth Henrich. Judy was born in Torrington on October 2, 1939, daughter of the late Cecil and Mable (Chase) Rockefeller.

Judy was a longtime resident of Morris. Judy was employed at the Torrington Company Morris/Watertown plants for many years before her retirement. She was a class of 1957 graduate of Litchfield High School.

In addition to her husband Kenneth, Judy leaves to honor and cherish her memory a daughter and son-in-law, Bonnie and David Stewart; her cousin, Susan Shumway; two nephews, Sid Howland and Jeffrey Howland; a special person she called daughter #2, Diane MacDonald as well as her favorite “grand-puppy” Jack.

Judy’s favorite place to visit was the Ocean. It was her happy place. She also loved to crochet. From ornaments to doilies, we all have many of her handmade items to cherish.

To all who knew her she always had a kind word and a sweet smile. It was never about her, she always wanted to know how you were. Always gracious and always a lady. We will all miss her presence in our lives.

Our family would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to the staff at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital ICU for their kindness and care they extended to Judy and our family.

Funeral services will be private and at the family’s convenience.
