Obituary for John Daniel Lang
Goshen – John Daniel Lang, 70, passed away on February 10, 2022 after a short illness at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington. He was born on February 13, 1951 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire to the late Kenneth and Simone (LaFlamme) Lang.
John worked in the Litchfield Public Schools for many years keeping the computers up and running. His love for trains took him on many trips via the rails. He was a member of the Torrington Model Railroader's Club. John cherished the championship of his pets, especially his dog, Tara.
He is survived by his sister-in-law, Janet Lang, Ursula Lang, his niece, Megan Lang, and his two nephews, Patrick and Scott Lang.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Little Guild, 285 Sharon-Goshen Turnpike, West Cornwall, CT 06796 or charity of choice.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 from 5:00-6:00 pm at Thurston Rowe Funeral Home, 283 Torrington Road, Litchfield, Connecticut. A service will begin at 6 pm. Burial will be held in the Spring.
