Obituary for Jessica Halsted Lovig DeLuca
Jessica Halsted Lovig DeLuca, 50, passed away on May 31, 2022 at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington. She was born on August 25, 1971 in Charleston, South Carolina.
Jessica was raised in Fairfield County, she graduated from the Executive School of Bridgeport and from then she went on to study music at Chapman University.
Jessica loved being a mother, looking out for animals, and connecting with nature.
She is survived by her father, Lawrence Lovig of Phippsburg, ME, her mother, Gail Halsted Lovig of Kent, Connecticut, her daughter, Halsted Isabella DeLuca of Litchfield, Connecticut and her son, Crescenzo Jesse DeLuca of Litchfield, Connecticut.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Little Guild Animal Shelter, 285 Sharon-Goshen Turnpike, West Cornwall, CT 06796.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at 11:00am at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 49 South Street, Litchfield. Calling hours will be held on Monday, June 6, 2022 from 5:00 – 8:00pm at Thurston Rowe Funeral Home, 283 Torrington Road, Litchfield. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill, Connecticut.
