Obituary for Gladys Shaughnessy
Bantam - Gladys Shaughnessy, 94, passed away on June 23, 2020 at Valerie Manor in Torrington. She was born on August 10, 1925 in Bantam, Connecticut to the late Edward P. and Clara (Thiemann) Shaughnessy.
Glady was a lifelong Bantam resident, working at PTC Aerospace for over 32 years. She was a lover of all animals.
She is survived by three nieces; Janet Dapkus of Waterbury, Barbara Campbell of North Carolina and Jane Carlson of Florida and her nephew; Albert Masone of Waterbury. Glady was predeceased by her three brothers; Joseph, Henry and George Shaughnessy and her two sisters; Frances Masone and Margaret Carpenter.
A graveside service in Bantam Cemetery will be held privately.
