Obituary for Gertrude Correll (Barber)
Litchfield, Gertrude (Barber) Correll, 77, of Litchfield, passed away on October 25, 2019 at Valerie Manor. She was the wife of John Correll. Gert was born in Torrington on February 24, 1942 to the late Marshall and Alice (Moylan) Barber. She worked for Hallmark Marketing where she made everyone smile with her kind heart for many years until her retirement.
She enjoyed taking photos of her family and landscapes. She liked playing bingo and enjoyed watching her grandchildren play sports.
In addition to her husband John, she is survived by two sons John Correll, Jr. of Crystal River, FL and Ronald Correll of Burlington, CT. A daughter, Ann Correll of Litchfield, and grandchildren April Correll, Melissa Correll, Jared Correll and Jordan Correll. Along with a brother Fred Correll and a sister Louise Wagner.
A graveside service at East Cemetery, Litchfield will be private.
