Obituary for Florence Justine MacKenzie
Bantam – Florence “Fluffy” MacKenzie, 86, passed away on July 30, 2020. Fluffy was born on June 18, 1934 in Torrington, Connecticut to the late Benjamin C. Stoddard, Sr. and Marjorie Rose (Hallock) Stoddard.
Florence loved life, good food and spending time with family and friends. Her family meant everything to her.
She is survived by three sons; Kenneth J. MacKenzie, Enos MacKenzie (Wendy) and David MacKenzie (Marcia), her daughter; Debra Loomis (Bret), six grandchildren, four great grandchildren, two sisters; Marjorie McHan and Mary Murphy, her sister-in-law, Janet Stoddard and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents; she was predeceased by her former husband and love of her life, Robert MacKenzie and three brothers; Benjamin Jr., George and Charles Stoddard.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2020 at 10:00am at Bantam Cemetery, 715 Bantam Road, Bantam, CT 06750. We ask everybody attending to please adhere to social distancing guidelines.
