Condolence: I was blessed to know Mickey (and Lonce and Wilda) from elementary school through high school, at through the UU Church. I always loved him as a friend, and felt a warmth of spirit that told me he was a GOOD soul.
Lonce, not so much.
(That was a joke!)
Although his passing too young is tragic, he blessed us all with his presence, and I’m glad to have known him, regrettably losing contact after high school.
I’d love to hear about his life post-school, if anyone cares to share. Remember, we ALL die, so it can’t be bad; besides, it’s only the body that dies - the spirit is eternal.

Condolence: I was saddened to hear of Mickey's passing. I met Mickey back in 1983 at our August first year picnic before we began medical/dental school and we immediately became friends. He always had a smile and his good natured personality always shone through. Seems like yesterday when he, Jeff Burns, and I organized and set up all those Wed afternoon coffee houses during our first two years at UConn Health Center. Although time and years passed as we went our separate paths I will always fondly remember the friendship that was formed that August day.
