Obituary for Douglas Scott O'Leary

Thomaston
Douglas Scott O’Learly (Doug, Dougie, DougieDoo, Gonzo), 33, of Thomaston, CT passed away November 21, 2022. He was born February 24, 1989 in Washington, CT and raised in Northfield, CT. Dougie was definitely known for all of his crazy antics and stunts but beyond that Dougie was the sweetest, kindest and most caring person. He was always laughing and smiling and always lit up a room. He was authentic and genuine with a heart of gold.

Doug loved to have a good time and hang out with friends but his family was his “number 1”; he loved his Mom, sister and niece more than anything.

Doug was a foodie, loved to read, play video games and listen to Wu-Tang.

Doug settled into a career as a butcher at LaBonnes in Watertown, Ct. He was dedicated and conscientious. Although we will deeply miss Doug, the many hysterical memories of him will bring a smile to our faces and give us the strength to move on.

Doug leaves behind his mother Marcie, his sister Megan and niece Abigail, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and many cousins. He was predeceased by his father Marvin O’Leary.

Doug will be laid to rest in Maine with his Dad at a later date
