Obituary for Donna Marie Curto (Falcone)
TERRYVILLE - Donna M. (Falcone) Curto, 67, passed away on December 24, 2021 at Bristol Hospital. Donna was born in Waterbury on September 27, 1954 to the late Frank R. Falcone and Phyllis Ann (Micale) Falcone.
Donna was raised in Waterbury, attended B.W. Tinker Grammar School and graduated John F. Kennedy High School, class of 1973.
She was a former President and Secretary of Beta Sigma Phi and was honored as “Girl of the Year” for three years in a row. Chapter Preceptor Omicron, originally XI Alpha Theta.
Donna also worked for fifteen years at The Pie Plate Restaurant as a server and cashier.
Donna is survived by two sisters; Francine Smith (Bob) and Leann Raponey (Armand); a brother Frank M. Falcone (Christine); nephews, Nicholas Smith (Shana) and Jeffrey Raponey; nieces, Jamie Flammia (Peter) and Jenna Raponey; a great niece, Gia; her dear friend C. Edward Anderson; and beloved cats, Scooter and Jinxy.
A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, January 22nd, 2022, at Thurston Rowe Funeral Home, 283 Torrington Road, Litchfield, CT. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow in St Anthony’s Cemetery, Litchfield, CT.
