Obituary for Donald Echuk
Northfield – Donald S. Echuk, 91, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2020 after a brief illness.
Donald was born in Waterbury Connecticut on March 13, 1929 to the late Theresa and Andrew Echuk. He was employed at Sealectro Manufacturing, as a foreman, and Timex. He briefly owned his own machine shop in Waterbury, as well. His passion was hunting and fishing and he was a life member of the Chase Rifle & Pistol Assn., of Waterbury.
Donald is survived by his only son, David, of Torrington, his wife Pimsiri Namsom, and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his late wife Jeanne (Simeone) Echuk, his sister Alice Baltera, and brothers John Echuk, and Michael and Peter Zimnaruk. A funeral service will be held Friday, May 15, 2020 at 11:00 am at Thurston Rowe Funeral Home, 283 Torrington Rd. Litchfield. Visitation will be Friday from 10:00am to 11:00 am prior to the service.
