Obituary for Donald Cipolla

Donald Cipolla passed away at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington, Connecticut on February 11, 2022 after a brief illness with his wife and family by his side. Donald was born in Brookfield, Connecticut on February 4, 1950. He attended Center School, Brookfield High School and spent a short time at Post University. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth, mother, Gloria, sister Mary Patricia, brother Peter and his wife Gina plus many cousins, nieces and numerous friends. He was predeceased by his father Dominik. Donald worked in the construction trade all his life, starting in a stair shop and working his way up to owning his own company and being a supervisor for other companies as well. He was a master carpenter and artist, who could build anything. He loved to go fishing with his buddies in upstate, New York and on fly-ins to Canada. He also enjoyed collecting, restoring and selling antiques, furniture and old tools. He loved sports and gardening and many of his flowers won ribbons at local fairs. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to any animal shelter of your choice. Donald was an extremely kind, intelligent, generous and special person and his family and friends will miss him dearly. Services will be held privately.
