Obituary for Deborah J. Mitchell

Deborah J. Mitchell, 58, passed away on June 16, 2022, after an eight year courageous battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of 29 years of Thomas N. Mitchell.
Deborah was born on November 9, 1963 to John Brodski and the late Joan (Schreier) Brodski. She was raised in Centereach, New York and moved to Connecticut in 1987 having lived in Danbury, Naugatuck and Bristol before settling in Harwinton with her husband Tom.
Deborah was a very strong and courageous woman, a wonderful wife and mother who loved to cook and bake. She served in the National Guard and worked in the Insurance industry for many years.
In addition to her husband and her father, Deborah is survived by her daughter Debriana. She was predeceased by her son, Brian Thomas Mitchell and her mother.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at 10:00 am at Thurston Rowe Funeral Home, 283 Torrington Rd, Litchfield. Burial will follow in Peacedale Cemetery in Bristol. Calling hours will be Tuesday, June 21, 2022 from 4 to 7pm.
