Obituary

Charlotte M. Fleet

NEW PRESTON - Charlotte May (Brinton) Fleet entered into eternal rest on April 27th, 2020. Charlotte was born to Vincent Brinton and Ruth (Sabin) Brinton on September 10th, 1938. She was a longtime resident of New Preston, wed to Kenneth Fleet in 1960. She spent most of her younger years as a devoted homemaker and mother to her 4 sons. She later worked many years in healthcare providing much love and care to her patients at the Washington/Warren VNA.

A friend to all and a much-loved mother, grand parent, and sister. She will be remembered for her love of her family, lighthouses, and Wells Beach Maine- her favorite spot. Her warm smile and caring nature will be missed greatly by many.

Charlotte is survived by her sons, William Fleet and his wife, Melanie, of Kent, Jeff Fleet and his wife, Alma, of Warren; daughter-in-law, Robin Fleet of Warren; and brother, Terry and his wife, Angela, of Wisconsin; as well as 9 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Charlotte was met in heaven by her loving husband, Kenneth Fleet; and her two sons, Russell Fleet and Leonard Fleet; as well as her brother, Kenny Brinton.

A private burial will be held at the New Preston Cemetery. A service to celebrate Charlotte’s life will be planned at a later date.

It’s not goodbye, it’s until we see you again. Fly high sweet lady.
