Obituary

Charles Henry Odell, Sr.

Charles Henry Odell, Sr. passed away on August 30, 2020 at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. Just one day before his 79th birthday. He was born on August 31, 1941 to the late Oscar and Jeanne Pellegrini Odell.

Charles served in the United States Army from 1958-1961. He was a passionate musician, playing the Guitar and Banjo in a band called Country Gentleman. Charles drove the senior’s bus for Northwest Transit for many years.

He is survived by three children, eight grandchildren, his loving partner, Helen Schultz, a brother and a sister.

Calling Hours will be held on Friday, September 4, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Thurston Rowe Funeral Home, 283 Torrington Road, Litchfield. Burial with military honors will follow in New St. Francis Cemetery, 863 S Main St, Torrington, CT 06790 Torrington, Connecticut.
