Obituary for Betty Lanthier
Bantam – Betty Lanthier, 89, passed away February 9, 2021 at her home. She was the wife of the late Donald Lanthier, Sr.
Betty was born in Torrington on Dec. 5, 1931 to the late Clarence C. and Mildred (Jennings) Goslee.
Betty enjoyed traveling and spending time with her grandchildren. In her later years, she enjoyed Bingo, penny auctions and going to tag sales.
Betty is survived by three sons; Leon Lanthier, Donald (Barbara) Lanthier and David Lanthier, eight grandchildren; Donald Robert, Jared, Aaron, Drew, Melissa, Alex, Tommy and Sue Ming, five great-grandchildren; Hannah, Hailey, Hayden, Holden and Nolan and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Betty was predeceased by a son, Brian Lanthier and a daughter, Susan Frauenhofer.
Calling Hours will be Monday, February 15, 2021, from 5-7pm, at Thurston Rowe Funeral Home, 283 Torrington Rd., Litchfield, CT. Burial will be in West Cemetery in the Summer.
