Barry Robert Oswick ,78, of Litchfield, Ct. passed away Friday, October 28, 2022, after a 5 year battle with lung cancer.
Barry was born, in London, England to George and Rose Oswick. He worked for Platarg Engineering in London during which time he emigrated to the U.S. with his wife, Christine.
While living in Thomaston, Connecticut, Barry opened his own business, Barrick Presses.
Barry is survived by his wife of 41 years, Christine Oswick, his daughters, Jacqui Cheesewright and Katherine St. Onge, a son, Gary Oswick, one brother, George Oswick, and one sister, Linda Harknett. Barry has 6 grandchildren, Katie and Daniel Cheesewright, Adam and Charlie Oswick , and Leo and Maxwell St. Onge.
Friends and family may call on Saturday, November 5, 2022 from 1:30pm-2:00pm at Thurston Rowe Funeral Home, 283 Torrington Road, Litchfield. A service will begin at 2:00pm. Burial will follow in West Cemetery, Litchfield followed by a reception at the Club House at Hunter's chase, Hunter Drive, Litchfield, off Peck Road.
