WARREN – Ann Elizabeth (nee Carroll) Curtiss, 90, peacefully passed away on April 10, 2020, surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of the late Bryant Owen Curtiss.

Born on August 9, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Estelle (nee Austin) Carroll of New Milford. She became a devoted and lifelong Warren resident when she married Bryant in 1951.

Ann’s primary passion was her love of family and friends. She was an accomplished gardener, knitter and baker, and loved to travel, especially in the company of family to the Outer Banks. She was an avid fan of UConn basketball, pro-golf and NASCAR.

Ann is survived by her sons, Gary Curtiss and wife, Cynthia, and Gregory Curtiss and wife, Geri; her grandchildren, Ryan and Stephanie, Sean, Justin, Joshua and Alexa Curtiss; her great grandchildren, Emily and Dylan Curtiss; her beloved sisters-in-law, Doris Curtiss and Judy Carroll, and many cherished nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service will be held at Warren Cemetery. A Celebration of Ann’s Life with extended family and friends will be held at a later date.
