Obituary

Andrew Johnson, 30, passed away on Saturday October 24th.
He was born on July 5th, 1990 at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington, CT.
He graduated from Oliver Wolcott Technical High in Torrington from the carpentry program.
He enlisted in and earned the title of United States Marine, specializing in motor transport.
He spent most of his childhood and adult life living in Connecticut, surrounded by family and loved ones.
An avid sports fan and athlete himself, there was not one person who saw him compete that would deny is drive and ability. He was a leader who stood in the front and did everything he could to see those around him succeed alongside of him.
Andrew was a loving father. He lived for his children, Emery Grace and Nathan Aaron. A man of commitment and passion, he dedicated all he had to them. Seeing his children grow and be happy was of the upmost importance to him. He was very successful at that. His children adore him to this day and will, with no doubt, continue to do so.
Andrew is survived by his best friend, and the mother of his children, Alaynah. Together, they started a journey that would last beyond both of them. The journey of parenthood. Together, they did everything they could to give their children everything they could want. Together, they gave happiness to the lives they had created. Through thick and thin, their bond and their love was true, and would not be severed.
Andrew is also survived by his mother Danielle, and his father John. Andrew’s heart was deep. There would never be a time in his life where he wouldn’t love his mother and father.
Andrew is also survived by his many aunts, uncles, and grandparents. All of whom helped to raise and guide him as best they could through life. Making sacrifices of their own to do so. Spe-cifically, he is survived by his Uncle Ben and Aunt Jen. The two who, without a worry about themselves, took Andrew and his brother in as children. Caring for them as their own. Andrew spoke many times in private and public of the love and appreciation he had for them.
Andrew is lastly survived by a younger brother Aaron. As the eldest, Andrew went above and beyond his call, every single day of his life. The care, love, and protection he gave his brother was so pure and strong it could bring down the sky. Through many trials and tribulations, Andrew guided his brother each step of the way.
His smile would bring out the sun. His eyes shone pure. His laugh spread warmth. His love healed us all.
A Graveside service will be held on Friday, October 30, 2020 at 1:00pm at Bantam Cemetery, 715 Bantam Road, Bantam.
