Hermina H. Ruot, 89, passed away on September 26, 2014 at Valerie Manor in Torrington. She was the loving wife of the late Leon Ruot. Born on March 26, 1925 to the late Joseph and Carolyn (Zontak) Shuhi.

Hermina was active in the Altar Society at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church and the Harwinton West Side Fire Department Auxiliary.
Hermina is survived by son Bruce Ruot and his wife Sharon, daughter Nancy Schlosky and her husband Charlie, three grandchildren; Ethan Ruot and wife Brenda, Sarah Allan and husband Brendan, Annalee Lasch and husband Ryan, two great-grandchildren; Lily and Owen Ruot and many nieces and nephews.

In Lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association CT Chapter, 2075 Silas Deane Highway, Rocky Hill, CT 06067.
